No strings, may the best post win.
There are some rules.
1. No profanity. The option to post is open to everyone regardless of age, so we need to keep it clean.
2. No adult material. See Rule #1 for the rationale.
3. All postings are subject to review for content and will then be made visible to everyone.
4. Man (or woman) up! If you post it, stand behind it. You can run the gamut from comedy to tragedy but have the character to put your name on what you post. Besides, if you don't where do we send your prize?
5. Think outside the box. Everyone has stories, but think about the unusual. Did you go back to cloth diapers? Are you car pooling in a rickshaw?
6. Post as many times as you want, but you can only win once per session
7. You agree to let us re-use all your comments (including sending them out to our governing officials) as we see fit. Once you post it becomes our property with all rights, etc.

The more creative your post, the better your chance of winning. This is an on going event, with each period closing out about once every thirty days.
As each day goes by this recession affects us all in different ways. For some of us, it has meant cutting back. For others it has meant a complete change of lifestyle. Some have even lost everything.
The things that we have left inside us are hope and faith.
Hope, not from a divine intervention standpoint, but from the perspective that as long as there life and will there is opportunity. Hope is the spark, that small coal glowing inside all of us that we can never allow to go out.
Faith is the breeze blowing over the coal of hope that can fan it into the fires of action. Faith is putting one foot in front of the other, moving in a direction irrespective of adversity.
Add a little faith to a little hope and you get a fire that will keep you warm on the coldest, most inhospitable day and light your way through the darkest night.
So don't hold on to anything! Post your stories, and with a little hope and a little faith, you may may just get a free gift!
